My interest in raku firing began shortly after I learned how to throw pots on the potter's wheel. Most of my pots are simple forms with decorative lids. Most lids are made of brass, copper, beads, wire, rocks and unusal findings.

Raku tiles are really a joy to create. I etch into the semi dry clay whatever subject I want with few limitation to details. The colors are created by using combinations of glossy, matte, white crackle, and metallic glazes. The copper metallic glaze I produce always yield stunning and very unpredictable colors.

All work is signed.

It is to be used decoratively.
